The Japanese armor was created in the 4th through 6 th century, and a whole suite could take up to a whole year to make. The colors and pattern artwork was called odoshi, and the colors of the cords that they used to tie their armor together helped identify the samurai apart from a different clan. Some of these styles of armor actually came from Europe as they resemble in appearance. The Samurai had one piece of metal as the chest plate, and little pieces of metal tied together with the clan colored silk.
This is one of the most complete lines of Samurai Armor available. These are fully functional and fully wearable sets of armor that look and feel incredible. These authentic reproductions are made of iron, steel, leather, silk, cotton, brass and other materials that were traditionaly used dorring the Sengoku era in Japan. Abosuletly no plastics, rubber, glue or synthetic material are ever used in the armor.
